Tugboat operates as a trading bot rather than a centralized exchange and does not provide investment advice. When making transactions, users should be aware that Solana blockchain operations incur network fees (gas + priority fees) which go directly to the network.

Users should note that memecoins are not assets and lack intrinsic value. Tugboat cannot be held responsible for trading losses or assist in recovering stolen funds if wallets or accounts are compromised.

Upon wallet creation, users receive public and private keys which should be kept secure and never shared. A new wallet must be created if the current one is disconnected.

Tugboat supports a wide range of tokens and coins, including popular memecoins and stablecoins. However, if you are not able to find the token you are interested in, it likely is not currently listed in a DEX like Raydium yet. The bot automatically finds the best exchange rates across platforms to ensure you get the most value for your trades.

When you first buy a token, the Solana Blockchain requires you pay rent to open and maintain the token account--roughly 0.002 SOL. However, this amount is completely refundable when you close the token account using the /close-token command. To close a token account, you must have a balance of 0 in the token.
